Why was my NRI Family ID request rejected?

Your request may be rejected if incorrect or incomplete details are provided. Please make sure you use the correct NRI Family ID form, fill in all required fields, and attach necessary documents.

I submitted a Resident form instead of an NRI form. What should I do?

You’ll need to re-submit the NRI Family ID form with complete and correct details. The form is available at your nearest branch or on the bank’s website.

My Family ID already exists. Can I create a new one?

No. If a Family ID already exists, please use the same one for any updates. If changes are needed, request for modification or deletion instead of creating a new ID.

Can a Resident family member be the primary account holder in an NRI Family ID?

No. The primary account holder must be an NRI. Requests with a Resident as primary will not be processed.

What documents should I submit with my NRI Family ID form?

Please submit:

  • The NRI Family ID form, fully filled and signed
  • KYC documents (passport, visa, and address proof) for all members

Incomplete or unsigned forms may be rejected.
